Residual Leg Blow Up
The pain I have been having while walking came to a head yesterday. I was down to about 10 minutes before I had to stop walking because of the pain. When I got my socket and liner off I was examining the leg and discovered it was making a loud crunching noise when I flexed my quads. Today I saw the surgeon who did the amputation and he says that the muscles have torn away from the tip of the bone where he put them himself. Well the cure is (hopefully) six weeks without the leg to let things reattach. If that does not work he will have to operate again and reattach everything manually then more time for that to heat. This whole thing really sucks

ARRGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! Sorry Peter - That totally sucks!! I mean at least you found the problem and reason for th pain, but how discouraging to have this setback. But take the time for it to hopefully heal right (I have my 10 fingers and 5 toes crossed for you) and then up and at \'em!! I pray this will heal and you will not have to have more surgery.
