Report Cards & other thrills

 
Well, the kids got their report cards the other week. My daughter's GPA keeps going up & the past 2 quarters, she's made High Honors, which was her goal. My son's GPA actually rose above 2.0 for the 1st time. He improved in most of his classes (went down 1/2 grade in Chemistry, got an F in Psych for some reason). AND he got a D+ in English--that's practically a C! (which for him is big) He felt his teachers graded him fairly. Anyhow, I told him if he keeps it up, it looks like we'll be able to follow through on the deal for him to repeat English 2 in Summer School.
 
Today's huge news: I wrote & mailed the check to pay off my credit card! Woo hoo!
 
Health note: went to doctor for follow-up. Waited over an hour; was told another dr. could look at me. No one came in. They said 10 more minutes. I said "10 MORE MINUTES!" (that's it!). After that I walked out. They didn't even call me till 20 minutes later! So that tells you how much longer I would have had to wait. I certainly don't have all day. And I'm not worried because I'm not in pain. I think the problem was that she scraped me last time (which did cause bleeding & probably that redness). No other tests have come back with bad news. I'm not going to waste any more time worrying about it.
