Renewal
Spring. Renewal. Growth. Change. Lent. Easter. Sunshine. Warmth.
I am stuck at 160.5 lbs but I feel change coming and I am trying to be patient. I have been doing really good with calories, under 1400. Still using Fitbit. The Fitbit calculates the calories burned and calories eaten. (I plug in my food and it knows how active I am.) Not quite a Body Bug but better than just an ordinary pedometer. I have been getting in 12K and 13K steps a day. I am going to the Y later after work this afternoon.
Cold was really bad the last few days. Even had the chills a few nights. Better today. I did a long drive out to York PA through Lancaster (Amish Country.) Beautiful day! 72 degrees and sunny. The buds are starting to be seen on the trees, but it is still bare trees. In a few weeks, it will be an exceptionally beautiful drive! Love t his weather. Just doesn't get any better. Opened some windows in the house to de-stink-ify. The dogs are driving me crazy as they just want to be outside all of the time. My bird of paradise and my orchids in my sunroom are blooming! I will have to take some photos.
Gotta get some motivation and energy and focus. I am SO behind in my job right now. I sit here and get frustrated and shut down and I am having a hard time getting anything accomplished. I think I will keep my phone off for the next two days, shut my door and just put everything in a big pile and start at the top and work my way down. Right now it is a bit overwhelming.
I really need to get things under control as we are going to Las Vegas for vacation for Easter. I am sort of looking forward to it, and sort of not. I hate the pressue to get things done. I love my home. I also love getting away. sometimes David is a really PIA when we are away as well. Oh well. Gotta try to be positive, right? I really need to lose a few more lbs so I can fit into my clothes for my trip.

Proactive and moment by moment - the mountain is climbed and conquered.

Don\'t look at the pile take one item at a time and you\'ll see how fast you get threw it. I know being overwhelmed makes things more difficult to accomplish.
Maybe, take the oldest items make a pile of them. take the new ones and make another pile put that one aside. then the pile won\'t look so overwhelming and then you will see how fast you get it done. Anything that will help you get threw it w/o feeling the stress.
Vegas sounds great. You\'ll get that weight off.
Take care of yourself and do one thing at a time. I can get overwhelmed by it all. Envious of your warm weather as it has been raining non-stop it seems, although we have had sun-breaks and after Arizona it can be difficult. Have a great day.
Work on that pile but remember to take a stretch break every hour.
On David being a PIA - that can happen at home or Vegas so go and enjoy! It is a teenagers main mission in life to be a Royal PIA. :)
YES - pictures of you beautiful blooms PLEASE!
Glad you are enjoying your Fitbit. I might be a little bit jealous!
Your flowers must be beautiful. The end of the winter gets me less motivated.
