Removing "friends" I never hear from
Today, I made a decision to remove some of the "friends" that have asked for my "friendship" yet, have never or seldom ever had any contact with me since the "friendship" request was made. There will be more removals in the future I am sure.
If you read this and are one of those I removed, you can send another request. I just see no need of collecting a wall of avatars and never hear from anyone. I never was good at collecting things anyway except, wounds, scars, rejection and hurt and, I have enough of these to last a lifetime.

i agree with you... for some it is about the #\'s and not the friendships
lol sometimes i feel like that commercial on tv about the young woman/girl who is online on FaceBook and is concerned about her parents because they have so few friends and she has like hundreds. her concern is that they don\'t have much of a social life. they flash the scene to her parents laughing and playing outdoors with their friends while this young woman/girl is online with her friends talking about a post about a puppy.
i am with ya, some of the ppl on my friends list, i don\'t know them and when i go on their profile to try to figure out how i am supposed to know them i see that we aren\'t even involved in the same groups. if they were part of a group i was in before they aren\'t any longer. i usually only have friends from groups i am a part of that i interact with.
i do have periods when i am offline but my friends understand that this happens sometimes because i have difficulties in life and can\'t always be online.
Pee Wee, it is either feast or famine! ya get some people who want you to be online all day every day (i had one lady stalking me and upset if i didn\'t spend hours talking to her, she is now on ban) or some who ya gots no idea who they are or how they ended up on your friends list. *sigh*

I understand where you are coming from. I already did that exact thing myself just lately. Im so sorry for all the things that you have gone thru. Thank you for not taking me off and understanding about me going to the eye dr. yesterday and I just couldnt see anything until tonight. Im still having to wear my shades but at least I can get back on here to pray for others. I think you are a wonderful friend and thank you Connie for telling Oldbiker why I couldnt respond to this journal yesterday.
