Remission

I want to think that I feel stronger everyday, I also remain very optimistic so I hope it is not just in my head.  I always exercised mildly, but now it is extremely important and necessary.  Working out daily(almost daily) is helping to make the systems that still work to be stronger to take up the slack of what has shut down.  If it does come back to life, I want to keep my muscles strong.  My damage may go away, but if it comes back, I want to be ready.  Nutrition, nutrition, nutrition.  I am also dealing with the healing from a tramatic brain injury and that needs a lot of protein.  You should eat a lot of protein anyway, but I try to eat more.  Another is Omega-3 Fatty Acids.  There are some vegetable sources for this(like walnuts), but I like seafood.  There is a joke that I learned in the restaurant industry.  I see food(seafood), and I eat it.  Research everything that you put in your body.  No one is responsible for the stuff that you put in your body but you.  Almost everything is made of sugar.  The chemical formula for sugar is C6, H12, O6.  Carbon is inert, Hydrogen is flamable(look at the Hindenburg), and Oxygen burns also.  Sugar is energy that the body uses.  Extra energy is stored in fat cells to be used later.  Sugar makes you fat.  Almost everything has sugar in it, so watch your sugar input.
