we've come a long way baby!  wow!  didn't realize how archaic things were back then, until i read this stuff.  i actually remember 1978 -- and 1974 women need "male" co-signers wth?  cave people.  1980 sexual harrassment permitted to report...that is a big thing all the time now, people are afraid of it.  yay women!  yay liberals who got this through.   everything in the 90's i remember well.  and by then i would assume the generation that was stopping progress was probably dead or close to it, so it seemed amusing to hear about it.

doing nothing right now.  in june it will be a year since i had to "slow down" and go straight home and all of that.  had another one of those dizzy spells today, so not all clear yet.  wonder if it will ever be?  need to find things to do that are fun but not stressful.  what do people do who stay home?  i never had to do this before.  the closest thing i had to this was recovering for my knee for six months, but i was super young and too many people around back then actually.

having perfect weather.  spring is beautiful here every year.  super sunny and warm.  too many leaves though.  we have 3 falls in northeast florida, so its not really a season, just 3 times a year leaves come down.  yuck!

test drove another car.  a honda accord.  it drives nice.  as good as a camry.  so its getting there.  the guy that did my oil change wanted to charge me an extra ten dollars for high miles, even though the receipt says, part synthetic 21 dollars.  they do a great job though, car always drives beautifully when i use them for oil change.  they top off all the fluids and all that.  very hard to get everything done while trying to leave for work.  really miss having a 4 day work week.  can't wait to get back to that actually.  wonder when?

lots of drama on facebook.  two different step-sides of the family with lots of deletes.   don't really want to know, even though i already know some of it.  one of my cousins seems to be getting dementia, for real, she didn't know people had attended one of the latest weddings even though they are people that live together and were talking to her at the wedding.  wth is that?  i said to her, you are kidding aren't you.  can you get dementia that young?  super strange.  i think it scared her.  i never really comprehend how many "issues" she has.  or why.  i wasn't abnormal psychology always scares me anyway.  there are a whole group of those from up north and they creep me out anytime they show up, wish they wouldn't show up at all.  would be nice.  lol.

We HAVE come a long way baby!

I\'m sorry that you are having to deal with \"what to do when I have to come straight home\". I\'ve had to deal with that since I got CFS in 2007! I was a very busy mom with two jobs and never stopped moving. All of a sudden my life came to a half. Here\'s what I found out. Time spent at home is not time wasted. You do good things. You care for animals. It\'s a wonderful gift of love that you share. You can do things from home that are in relation to that project that is ongoing in your life. I\'m unable to get out to work at all. So please realize that you are blessed to be able to get out and drive, and socialize!!

I have found that basically, I love doing things at home. I have redecorated most of the place. I spend more time with family. I love my own pets and take care of them and my hubby with more love and personal time than when I was working and always feeling rushed.

You will find that middle ground, 38. Believe me, 8 years into being disabled, I am doing things I never though would be possible, and I have found that I possess that I never knew existed in my mind. It\'s freedom. Trust me! xo

there is a quote, that says,\"humans are the only species that \"works\" just to be living on planet earth and that is WRONG.\" probably is wrong and i guess none of us discover that until retirement, IF we are alive to retire.

that meme makes me remember one of my friend\'s dad was a HUGE bully back then and i always wondered how he got away with it. when you recall how awful the laws were in the 70\'s, it makes you realize WHY there were hippies and why people were picketting for so many things. amazing he didn\'t go to jail or take his kids, though he bullied alllll kids. very two faced. sometimes he was strong the right way, and the rest of the time he was always wrong. the man who lived nearby, had guns at his house and was equally bad, but kept a low profile because he was from puertorico. amazing they were friendly because her father was irish. i never remember any of them much, but reading that crap triggered it. i\'ll finish this in prompts. the rumor was, his daughter that died, it was from him, but you never know what to think because people tell a LOT of stories. reminds me of \"spencer\'s mountain\" (waltons mountain is based on it) they get into if they have to say what something is, the people just make up all kinds of crap because they really don\'t know. wouldn\'t it be easier to say NOTHING? The little girl who is old now, was horrible, and would do things AT people if she was told to by him or her own father. and it was like, wouldn\'t you if they tell you to, and everyone is like, NO. i had an aunt that was like that, she would try to get all the cousins to do hideous things and no one would do it, except for two cousins out of 28. not very many. they still do too. her mother was like the Sixth Sense, and i didn\'t realize until YEARS later she had to be poisoning her. anytime she wasn\'t at her own house, she became SMARTER. its so sad, and i know for a fact, they are still in touch. WHY would she stay there? all her brothers got away from it. i said it to my stepfather and he said she has nowhere else to go. they won\'t put up with her. she is the one that leaves doors open all the time, even when no one is home and she takes things. wonder if her mother made her like that, so she would never be able to leave. she was in marriage counselling within a year of getting married.

one of the aunts from the other side of steps, her comments are deleted EVERYWHERE. some people just do that. i said it to the other cousin and she says no. then i \'m like, well, its amazing that they talk at all. i wouldn\'t. then you compare them to those two families that had bullies for fathers and the steps are like saints compared to them. lol. amazing.

gy thinks she is losing her mind and was crying about it because the last of the weddings she went to, she couldn\'t remember talking to people, even though its on film and she couldn\'t remember staying at their house and she slept over over there. wth? she is too young for dimentia, so i don\'t know what to think. she should talk to kv and they can forget all things together? i\'m half serious.

i mentioned to her that one of the cousins is getting divorced and that d\'s half sister made a video to music and its decent. and gy said she didn\'t know there are any other family. this is scary because she has met all of them. so i mention an old friend that knew both of us and i said to her nicely. do you remember her? and she says yes. i said, do you remember she has 3 siblings and they are all married with children now? and she says NO. she remember one sister and that is all. she is serious. so i say, okay. well there were four of them and they all had two or more kids each. so she starts laughing and i\'m like you know this. she says no. so i told her brother to show her photos so she\'ll comprehend it. i swear i think her mother poisons her. with my other cousins she has MET them and doesn\'t get it. even her brother said the same thing. either she has very early dementia or someone is poisoning her.

the cousin that is separated it appears she took out anything from his side of the family, and so did his younger brother\'s wife. i don\'t even want to know what that feud is about.

with the side that is gy\'s her brother doesn\'t speak to his son and hasn\'t for several years. so that is always awkward to look at closely. its easier to look at e mail and smile, and say nice photo. if you go to facebook and see what is missing, its awkward. they just had another baby, and its like, it just goes on and on doesn\'t it. they used to say that at the tiki bar on the beach where we hung out and i never quite knew what they meant. now i do, it gets so huge and there are so many, how do people keep up with all of that. extended family, especially if you include steps and those families its just too big. too many people.

the half sibling with the video to music who just returned from a study abroad, is related to one of the cousins who used to live near us. they lived by one of the schools i went to and all of us lived together for a while. i was supposed to send photos with that, as so much of that is missing. have no idea where either and it was her mother\'s favorite house. she loved it there. she had been dating my godfather and he bought her a collectable car. when her exhusband found out about the car he got back with her, got her pregnant and then SOLD the car for a small fraction of its value. he was a total hippi back then and that was the total END of the relationship. he ruined her life over there. its crazy. amazes me when you look back on all the crap that happens with people. happy times over there. i went to \"snob school\" which is amazing because compared to where i went to school in miami, the school over there was just a private school, no big name or anything. its all relative though, depends on where. my cousins in nyc would say, oh, they think its this school over here (same name) and i\'m like, no, they don\'t even know that school exists. whole other life over here. lol. that kind of stuff is weird. its like you are EVERYWHERE at once.
makes me wonder if gy is narrow like that because she is always in one small area with just a few people and their kids. big family by today\'s standards, but very little extended family. i never realize how big our extended family is, with or without steps, until i start counting them all and then its like, wow. lol.
