Reminders....

I was traveling downtown today.  I went to the regional market yesterday...farmers market here every weekend in the city.  A few little vendors also..but didn't get to look at everything. It's always packed, people are pushy..and I have this insane fear of losing Jax in a crowd.  We went with sue too..and she was in a hurry anyway.  Drove down this afternoon...and found exactly what I was looking for.  A little Indian woman was there with beautiful silk saris.my bedroom is draped in silks that sue has brought to me other travels around the world..and I really wanted something for the windows.  This woman had absolutely gorgeous stuff... Saris with sparkles and jewelry..and anything you could think of from her country.  Saris were $15 each...and my windows look beautiful.  I carefully draped them...I'm in love with my space.

Anyways...passed a military convoy heading north on my way.  I was going south on the interstate...and there they were.  It reminded me of my ex husband...and my current ex boyfriend, Jay.  Moving in opposite directions....that's what we all symbolized in that traffic.  I was on my path, my mission..they were following the leader on theirs.  I giggled a little to myself....thankful paths have crossed, but moved along.

It made me realize all the differences...especially with Jay.  Not just the little stuff...but some of it.  My dirty old Jeep...well loved from trail rides, his spit shined Camaro.  The way he was disgusted with my boxing...all of his drama, while I am centered and even keeled.  Kinda funny.  Last night I was cleaning out my book case and found a coin that Jay gave me before he left for Afghanistan.  I used to call it the magic coin...all those sleepless nights while he was gone...worrying about his safety.  I swear that coin would put me to sleep.  I spent many nights clutching it In the hopes of sleep and comfort and safety.  For both of us.  I forgot I had it.  I don't know what I should do with it...I have no address to send it to him.  It has no value or significance to me anymore. Do I return it to the earth? Turn it into a coin shop?  Truthfully, I do t really want any of his energy in my space.

Grateful. And tired.

Talked to Mike a bit this morning..he is repainting his family room today.  He's cleaning up energy too.  Synchronicities again...

My, quite a convo you and the universe were having! The saris sound beautiful, really awesome. How lucky you are...to have them available to you.

Sounds like your life is shaping up nicely. Happy for you....

Nice - take the coin and throw it into a wishing well.
