Remembering

Today, I went to the crash site where my son, Mike, lost his life, 4 years ago today.I still found pieces of the crashed vehicle embedded in the ground. I stood there, said a prayer and, thanked God for allowing me to have Mike for 37 years.  I just got back from visiting his grave .     Man, it's still tough.

It is hard to find the right words for a day like this. In your line of work, you have to say them and worse. You are strong to be able to thank God for the time you had with your son, and God heard you.Your son will be waiting to greet you when it is your turn as will all of your other loved ones that are there. What a day that will be...
