Remembering

So I was reading some of the posts in discussions on the ForMomsOnly site... and I was really so grateful to reread the post about nurturing... Today I needed to read this... to remember that I don't have to wait for someone else to 'fix' or nurture me.  I am struggling even while I try to be upbeat.  I don't know why... perhaps I do... Its my granddaughter's birthday.  She is 19.  I was wishing her happy birthday and recalling the day she was born... seeing her, seeing her mom... and it really sucks that Cara is not here...  but she was here... and her life was and is a gift.  In spite of the tears.. I am grateful.  So now... I am off to nurture myself... to take care of some things I need to do.  Its good for me to get things done.  I feel better when I take action.  I will find a space in this day to take care of myself.  Hugs Everyone, hoping you do the same.  Elissa
