remedy for pain

I would like to help get a cure for hidradenitis suppurativa.  First baby step would be to ease the pain.  I have found that getting the boil to a head and causing the boil to burst, helps relieve it.  A Led light (found in an automobile Leak Detection Kit) used for five minutes a day for two days accomplishes this.  After a week, the boil resurfaced, the led light was used again and today the wound is still leaking but hardly any pain as long as the leak is draining.
