Remedies for morning sickness also known as ALL day sickness
Ok I know I shouldnt be so uptight about this but I cant take it. I'm sooooo sick this time. And I know I always say I'll take the sickness or whatever if I just get a healthy baby. But I cant function I cant even get ready for work in the mornings because I'm in the bathroom puking. I've tried everything. Eating cheese at night before bed, keeping crackers besides my bed, drinking sprite and ginger ale. Nothings working. I brought those sea bands yesterday I only puked once lastnight then this morning I was doing ok I got up slowly ate crackers and drank ginger ale and I thought I was going to be ok, but now that I'm at work I feel HORRIBLE. I just wish there was something that would take it away. I'm a big baby and I hate being sick. LoL. I guess these are the joys of being pregnant. Dont get me wrong I still think of it as a blessing I know every time I get sick its a reminder of my little one in there. But sometimes I've just had enough. OK enough about that. I forgot to tell you guys yesterday. On Saturday I woke up and kind of had a burning/itching going on down "there". Sunday I went to the bathroom and there was lots of blood I started freaking on I yelled for my husband and he said hunnie thats not coming from inside thats coming from outside. I had such a bad infection and was so irritated I was bleeding. So yesterday when I went to the doctor she checked me and said I have a slight yeast infection and I'm really sore because of the progestrone. She said the progestrone keeps it so moist down there all the time because I'm on it twice a day that its causing infections. So she upped my dose to 100mg once a day instead of 50mg twice a day. So now I just take it at night time. She said theres really nothing I can do for the infection but put monistat external cream on it and just put a little inside. I'm not allowed to use one of the treatments like the 1,3,or 7 day. She said I can also take baking soda baths and after using the bathroom rinse with warm water and baking soda. So now I'm trying to get that cleared up. I'm feeling a little better no more bleeding. But its still kind of sore. Well I just realized how much I sound like a big baby. I'm not trying to complain. I'm very fortunate to be pregnant and have a healthy baby thus far. I'm just dealing with the yucky side of pregnancy right now. I know I'll get better. I love you guys. Hugs Monica.

Sick is sick, no matter what it\'s for it\'s not a feeling that anyone likes. Have you tried ginger? I heard it helps. I don\'t have too many suggestions, I was blessed not to have any morning (all day) sickness with my pregnancy.
I had a friend that had severe morning sickness for the whole pregnancy and they recommended that she eat Nilla Wafers instead of crackers.
Sorry about the sickness. I hope that it subsides soon. Glad that all is well with the baby though, I\'ll keep my ears/eyes open for some remedies!
It will all be worth it in the end.
Try almonds, Keep them by your bed and eat some before u get up ..They helped. They were not a cure all but they did help. I feel for you. I was the same way. They ended up prescribing me phenergan but it made me too sleepy and I couldnt work on it. I know its hard. Try to hang in there.
Also why can\'t u take a monistat?? They let me use it when I was pregnant.
((hugs))
I keep telling myself that it will get better and its all worth it. But its hard when I cant function because of it. Michelle, not sure about the monistat she told me she didnt want me taking it. But I could use the external cream. So needless to say I\'m not really getting much better.
ho that\'s alright! u can be a baby as much as u want. it\'s not easy feeling sick and it\'s alright to complain, it doesn\'t mean you\'re not happy to have a baby! I reall hope time will go fast and the sickness will go away! HUGS.
I just found out that I am pregnant. I am so nervous because I had hyperemesis gravidarium with my last pregnancy. My OB prescribes me Zofran. You can get the ones that dissolve in your mouth. I like them because when I am nauseated the last thing I want is to have to drink a bunch of stuff. Also the one thing that worked for me on my last pregnancy was a bagel and cream cheese. Sounds weird, but it is high in protein and complex carbs. Whatever works. I will pray for you that it gets better. BIG HUGS and congrats.
