Relationship of Food to Chronic Pain

Hello Friends, I posted this on the Chronic Pain support group. My pain is mostly arthritis (shoulders and knees) and neuropathy in the right leg and hand (similar to diabetic neuropathy but my nerve damage came from an overdose). This pain and discomfort is difficult to bear. Regarding your having less pain when you slept and didn't eat, I HAD THAT EXPERIENCE TOO. Fasting has relieved pain of all kinds. Apparently food sensitivities cause inflammation, which causes all sorts of pain. If you can, pay attention to when your pain flares up or gets better--and what you ATE or didn't eat that day. Identify your food triggers that cause or relieve pain. We can't sleep all the time or stop eating, but we can learn to keep pain at bay. Blessings!
