relapse type of day
I have had probably the best two weeks in my life mood wise since I can remember. I recently started counseling, have only had a few sessions and I feel like there's a lot of really good stuff to come out of that already.
But today, the insipid sadness, lonTheeliness and low- energy started to creep it's way in. I sort of knew this was the first sign of trouble, but thought I could cope pretty well with it considering all the good work I'd been doing lately with awesome meds, therapy, yoga, SAD light, etc.
Then a minor thing happened that got me into a crying jag, which is always hard for me to get out of once I'm in that state.
Then at work, my horrible boss ignored my requests for help to juggle my enormous workload, and then belittled me and made me feel worse while I was crying to her. (like a depressed person needs to feel any worse about themselves)
I feel like a failure for not being able to use some of the techniques I've been using in therapy. But i guess i'm just having a non-functional kind of day.
Just gets discouraging because I was doing so well, but now I feel like I'm back to square one.

Try not to be too hard on yourself, ok? It\'s all a process...of learning new techniques and incorporating them into our everyday situations. Remember, its a few steps forward and sometimes a few back, then forward again. You can do this, don\'t give up!!! xo :)
Thanks Lavender Hippie,
I know it is a process, it just gets old after a while, since this place seems all too familiar.
