Relapse

Hello all,

Have been having down days lately.  The unemployed bit is getting to me.  Yesterday I went to a "state of the town" luncheon for 2 local towns, one of which we live in.  My wife suggested I go for it as a chance to do some networking.  When I got there I "froze up" and couldn't "press the flesh" and talk with some people.  After the luncheon everyone headed for the door.  At that point I felt like a failure.

At that point I went to the Y and sat in the whirl pool for a while.  Then I went to a local church and sat and prayed for a while, then went for a drive before going home and into the welcoming arms of my loving wife.

So today I'm looking at a change of routine.  Taking in a movie with my son, and most importantly to call my psychologist for a long talk, and then call my NP who monitors my meds to see about changing my meds.

Mike
