Rejection.

So tonight I went to go see Breaking Dawn by myself.
Before the movie there was this girl i was talking to. We were having a good conversation and everything and then all of the sudden she tells me she's going to be right bacl. You know what she did? She never came back. I turned and looked around and she was standing in line with someone ELSE. Laughing with that person and everything. It hurts so much. I thought she wanted to go to the movie with me. :( I thought she was enjoying our conversation, but i guess i was wrong.

Things like this always happen to me. I was feeling accepted for once and then she had to go blow it. She had to just leave me hanging. Treated me like i wasnt even there. Its not fair. Not fair at all. I stood in line really upset. I couldnt believe it. I still cant. But i should be used to it by now, these things happen to me all the time. Ever sense elementary school.

Maybe im not meant to have friends. Maybe i dont deserve friends. I dont know what i did to her to make her do that to me. Its so depressing. I just want to sit here and cry. I feel so crappy. I feel like its something i did. I feel like im not important. This is so hurtful. Maybe it wasnt really the movie that triggered me. Maybe i was triggered before the movie even started because she did that to me. Maybe i just wasnt worth her time. I thought she understood what its like to have no friends, but i guess i was wrong. Very wrong.

Keep your chin up as high as you can. I\'m with you on this one. I\'ve had thoughts like this more often then not. Just remember you are worth it, and people just don\'t take the time to get to know you because they are selfish and don\'t understand how depth is more important in a friendship then the fake BS others can offer.

I went through the same stuff as you. I have journals that say the same thing as you. I really feel for you. But you are important and you deserve good friends. So its not you its them. They are not good. I am 49 now and I am very picky on who my friends are. Not many but good friends. Because girls or woman can be vicious. Hope you feel better soon. Just remember you are important and its not you!!!!!!

I can tell your sense of self worth is down the tubes. I would say it was due to all the abuse. After my ex got through with me, I felt like I had to apologize for my very existence. Now, 5 years later, I know I am better and a good person.
You do deserve friends. Just be careful. Sometimes when we\'ve been through a lot, we tend to have no boundaries and share too much about ourselves too quickly. I learned this lesson living in a small state like Delaware.
As for this girl, you do not deserve friends like that, you deserve much better. Hang in there.
