regrets

 
getting hit with regrets, remorse and feelings always makes me want to numb them up.  if i see something that reminds me of what might have been or my prior misdoings, i can feel a rush come over me and the want to drink all the way down to my bones.  i almost have to repeat over and over in my head to "let go and let God".
