reflux and neck pain

Friends----since my surgery I have had reflux disease that is apparently not treatable. i have been through 3 drugs and now take a powder that i mix with water twice a day. It doesnt work...thats the way it goes. My problem is that in order to keep things down I sleep with 4 pillows behind me. This has led to intractable neck pain that goes down my arm, elbow ,etc. It prevents me from sleeping. First, does anybody else have these issues? Next, any suggestions to alleviate?...thanks...ML.
