Reflection #26

LOVE'S OFFERING"THe Lord seeth not as a man seeth; for man looketh on the outwardappearance, but the Lord looeth on the heart."1 Samuel 16:7I judge not by outward appearances. I judge the heart, and I see in your heart one single desire: to do My will. The simplest offering by a child with the one desire to show you love, is it not more loved by you than the offerings of those who love you not? So, though you may feel that your worl has been spoiled and tarnished, I see it as love's offering. Wow, that really speaks to me about the way I talk down to myself and my need to be perfect at things. If my motivation is love, it is good enough. I may not see it as a perfect offering, but in God's eyes it is perfect because of the love that motivates me. Wow...that just really came into focus for me!  I hope you are well my friends! God's love and blessings always! D
