Reflections
...On another year gone by. Wow, you never know what life has in store for you from one minute to the next. In the blink of an eye BAM!!! a life changing event, sometimes it's even for the better. I know since my MI this year I know exactly who my friends are and who I can depend on. The best way to know who a friend is....need one LOL.
This experience has made me clean up my act as far as my diet and overall health is concerned and made me lose close to 50lbs. I definitely don't play around with my daily medications and read everthing I can on heart disease. There are so many here on DS that are a wealth of information on the subject of heart disease that is help me and others on our visits to our DR. with questions that need to be asked and answered.
I've had the wonderful opportunity of finding this great DS support group at just the right time and the DS family is truly outstanding with all of your support. I don't always chip in but your responses to others helps us all.
I'm doing a lot better, and I pray that all in the DS family will have good health, peace of mind and properity in the new year.

I was wondering where you have been. Wow 550+ lbs. that is fantastic. You are correct you found DS exactly when you were suppose to and that it has help you bolsters my feeling as how it has helped me. I am so happy for your new uen for life.
