Recovery is like computer repair

Irrational beliefs that trip us up are like computer viruses.  You have to examine every belief you have, decide if it helps you or not.  Whatever belief doesn't help you has to go.
Habits that just take up your time and don't gain you anything are like junk temp files.  They need to go.
Following the common belief system everyone else does "just because" is like Internet Explorer.  Use something better.
You have to look at the world through clearer eyes, just like you can't rely on Windows Media Player which sucks.
And finally you have to rearrange your priorities so they fit together closely, like defragging a hard drive.
If you don't understand the analogies.... for Christ's sake, it's 2014, take a computer class, watch some videos on youtube, read a book!

I was looking for a media player - imagine finding it here, of all places! Thanks.

Donnawanda, I always try to serve as many purposes at once. :) VLC also is great for playing flash videos, which is the easiest way to save youtubes etc.
