RECOVERING AND GETTING ON WITH IT.
HI JOURNAL,
WRITERS BLOCK AND THEN FLU LAID ME LOW,
BUT ENOUGH OF THIS, I'M RECOVERING.
NOW IS NOT THE TIME TO MOAN AND LAMENT,
IT'S TME TO FIRE UP,
TO 'UP THE ANTI' AND GET GOING AGAIN.
MY LEGS ARE GIVING ME THE GYPS,
SO WHAT'S NEW,
I'LL BE WORKING ON THEM TODAY,
I'LL HAVE CONTROL OF THEM YET.
IT'S WAY TOO SOON TO GIVE IN.
EFFORT AND TOTAL COMMITMENT,
ARE THE MEANS I CHOOSE,
THERE ARE NO QUICK FIXES.
TELLING MYSELF I CAN,
THEREFORE I WILL,
I AM BETTTER THAN THIS,
I WILL MAINTAIN A WINNING POSITION.
HEY PARKS,
I'M STILL HERE YOU BASTARD,
YES AND WE ARE COMING TO GET YOU.

Alevio, Hope you are feeling better. You sound like your old self. Keep fighting. For me even when the bite is off it still good to get out on the water. Best regards Alex

Hi Alievo, I had DBS put in october this year, it is my second time.I must say I feel better but not as good as the first time. Developed bursitis after ,in a L hip. I did have some pain in it before , but not as bad. I did walk after the surgery ,like duck , so I waddled along, until I come home and had the intense pain. To shortened the story , got NSAI , am better, but have trouble walking. Must use a walker. Leg is to week to stand on. I am fighting it. Exercise stationary bicycle 20 min daily and 40 min stretches and strength exercises daily. I think i am loosing the battle. My nero thinks its ortho. but the pain was not in the bone it was in the muscle. Did you had such problem with walking after the DBS ? Zlatica
