"recognizing a few words, but not comprehending situations around you//alex robbed k's house again

"Imagine you were in a foreign, noisy and crowded city at night,
not understanding the language spoken,
recognizing a few words but not really comprehending situations taking place around you - wanting to express a need for help but not being able.
This experience may begin to help you relate to what a child with autism feels on an ordinary day."

so, i'm on facebook, as ds is still freezing up and facebook isn't.  i discover there is an overlap with someone i know to a zillion others i knew in junior high school before moving to florida.  i go there and discover the older brother of one of my ex's died.  its not announced.  but you notice a change in photos - a drastic change.  at first, there is this great looking guy, even in old age, his great looking grown family and then all of a sudden, he looks like a different person.  omg!  from there i notice soooo many people i knew back then, all in rock bands etc., even now as adults, but just jamming.   so fun.  so i take a glimpse and it gets worse.  the older brother died and the younger brother predeceased him!  wtf?

these people are around 49, i know that is old, but now that i'm old myself, it doesn't seem THAT old.  i know it is, but...

then i'm playing on facebook some more and i see a couple of months ago the older brother of a step's ex from highschool also died.  i think of cancer because the donations are to st. jude's.  but also he had a cousin back when we were all kids who had leukemia as a teenager and i think in his twenties as well.  so could be that and i don't really need to know details anyway.  as i peruse more, i also discover another friend died in 2011 (know him from junior high school as well.  wtf?)   i hear the younger brother was slain at the store he owned, but people talk a lot and who knows if that is true.  SLAIN?  plus i think i talked to him in the mid-90's so have to figure out how to look it up properly.

i googled his name and it didn't help because his name is common and it just tells you people who died with that name in the passed six months.  grrrrr.  shouldn't vital records have proper information for FREE somewhere?  all the sites want to charge or have you join their site.

byn was around and cringed when rn starts her "sister in texas" thing.  he says she is lying when she does that and he told her to see a shrink.  he says its not a living person at all, its an "imaginary friend" she has had since childhood.  wtf?  i hope he is kidding.   he says when rn starts her crap about "her sister in texas" its bulshit, and she is just calling her home phone from her cell phone.  i said are you serious?  i have a feeling i'm going to find out that rn is bipolar.  can someone get that over time?  so many people have that and it explains a lot of the off the wall behavior, part of it is a total lack of good manners and part of it is her acting weird for no reason at all.

as soon as people start saying they have education that they don't have their lies usually unravel from there.  they tell on themselves and they don't even realize they are telling on themselves.  they do the same thing when applying for jobs, over the phone they lie like crazy.  they fill out an application and its like, this isn't ANYTHING like what you said your qualifications were.  it could also be menopause.  i don't know what the symptoms of that is.

we caught rn in my mail last june.  and byn says she still insists we don't live where we live.  and he says to her, okay, then where does she live?  and then rn doesn't have an answer.   i think she thinks i still live in south florida, which is amazing, and commute all the way over here?  what is that, five hours daily each way?  wth?  i'm gone a lot, but i do live here.   she also does things like trying to talk me out of living here, but neither of us have figured out where she thinks i should be living then?  very strange.

byn accused rn of stalking our house three years ago, and that creeps me out because i didn't know rn at all three years ago.  then he says, it could be two years ago.  in june i let her come over when he was working on things, and that is when both he and i caught her in my mail.  she says, oh, the mailman dropped it off.  first our mail person is a woman and second, the mail in her hands is the mail i let sit in the box, because i use the mailbox to store old mail, mine and others until i get to it, to forward it over or call and say its here.  so she was caught.  then she says she just wanted to prove that it wasn't mine and byn is like, but it IS her mail and rn is like so why does she use a po box.  hmmmm i also used to have a mail receiving service and an answering service for messages.

if e was here, he would say, don't even TRY to explain your lifestyle to someone like her.  byn says, it also bothers her that i have all these messages (they are often work related, and how would she know what messages i have anyway?).  so that is why she is pulling the phone bit calling her home phone from her cell phone.

rn says i'm usually just dropping things off and then gone five minutes later.  hey, i'm not retired.  so rn is trying to make me feel what its like if another is on the phone.  come to my house or office, EVERYONE is on the phone alllll the time.  seriously.

creepy though, never heard of a person calling themself from another phone to appear busier than they really are?!  kind of pathetic.  she told byn that she doesn't think i work full time because i don't complain about my job or say anything.  i do.  but only to people with the same job and only in verrrry small amounts.  maybe i just don't whine much?

then i get a call from k.  bad news.  alex came back as the police said he would.  he caught him in the great room asleep on the floor, he says.  (why on the floor and not the couch).  i also think he was in the guest house in back because he had one of the good pillows from back there with him in the great room.  the audacity after all the shit with alex stealing last week.   k then drives him away somewhere (they are all too nice to him, that is the problem) he thinks alex was there to steal his car but k has a bar on the steering wheel now.    then a check cashing place calls and alex is in the store tryng to cash a personal check from k's bank account for $150.   k then gets a call from his credit card company that alex charged $57 at walgreens, on the card even though we already cancelled the card and ordered a new card.  wth?  he says the problem with alex, is he is 25 years old now and still wants to play the, oh, i'm only 19 and i'm confused and i'm sorry, thing, and it doesn't work anymore because he is 25 and should be full grown and normal by now.  how long does he intend to pilfer/mooch off of others?  it makes no sense.

so because alex did all this crap, when c was at the house working, k purposely left his billfold with money in the trunk and had c put something in the trunk to see if c would try to steal anything.  (soooo many people do that, leave money around to see what the other person does).  he says every penny was still in the billfold.  so though k always prefers alex, he now respects c more.  i think he feels really sad that its happening.  he told the store owner to press charges and supposedly the police were called.  i'm stunned alex came back to the house AGAIN, even though the police said he would because he did the same thing to his grandmother, and now he isn't allowed at that house at all ever.  she has a restraining order.

Not everyone complains about their jobs. Some even actually are thankful they have one and might even like theirs. My hubby only complains to me about his job and not much at all. It is orange now and i am sorry you have an orange face. Hope you feel better soon!!

i don\'t think we complained much at any of the jobs, we\'d discuss the cases or if we liked a wedding location or the weather or something, and that was about it. hell, as a photographer i was all over the place, i was way too tired by the end of the day to say anything a LOT of the time. there are always people like that though, huge negatives.
