Recently diagnosed

I was recently diagnosed with IIH (commonly referred to by PTC). Basically, its when your body is making an excess of cerebral spinal fluid or CSF and it causes your skull to push against your brain, causing your brain to react as it would if you had a tumor. I'm currently on diomox 800 mg and it is making me sick as a dog. The Dr said I could stop taking it because of the horrible reaction I'm having to it, but I'm going to continue and see if my body can adapt. I scared senseless and I don't know much about the disease. Neither does my Dr. I go for an MRI tomorrow and a LP a couple weeks from then. Hopefully everything will be clear. I'm scared I may also have paps. All I really want at this point is to avoid surgery.

i\'m new to this site, and i was looking to see if MCS was listed and ran across IIH. This is really interesting. I took some classes in Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, and i had BCT sessions which improve a lot of my health problems including the MCS. BCT\'s goal is to realign the body so the cranium and sacrum function in unison so the cerebral spinal fluid flows properly. I truly believe most health issues can be resolved with realigning the body thru BCT or Tao Healing. I\'ve had much success with them, not only helping my issues, but my helping others as well.
I wish you all heath and happiness.
