I am covering the toddler and preschool roomslately due to staff being on vacation and sick. Iam appreciative of the money since Christmasis coming and I need the money.I find myself talking more plainly to my co workersand boss and it is not as hard as I thought it wouldbe. It is very freeing to be yourself and I find myco workers are more real with me as well.I have to ask my doctor and/or priest if they would dofavours for me look at my official documents andsign that they are authentic, I am nervous but tellmyself that the worst thing they can say is no andthen I have to ask someone else. Wish me luck!!!

You have come so far, Ida. You need to have more faith in yourself. I am glad that you are feeling more comfortable with your co-workers. From the time I have spent with you, I find it hard to believe that you are so hard on yourself. You are easy to be with and easy to talk to. I enjoyed chatting with you while we toured the One of a Kind Show. You talked more freely about yourself and I got to know you better.

Good luck with your doctor and priest. And here is some food for thought:

You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You must do the thing which you think you cannot do.

Your current safe boundaries were once unknown frontiers.

To dare is to lose one\'s footing momentarily. To not dare is to lose oneself.

If someone says something and one listens, whether they agree or disagree with what is said, they still have interest so be confident in what you say so long as someone will listen.

Everyone is shy --- it is the inborn modesty that makes us able to live in harmony with other creatures and our fellows. Achievement comes not by denying shyness but, occasionally, by setting it aside and letting pride and perspiration come first.

\"It is very freeing to be yourself\" Do you mean - it is freeing to be myself

It is a challenge for me to be myself. I am getting good at it. Yet I can t0taly relate to what YOU, yourself, are feeling and experiencing. Self acceptance , self exploration and expanding whre I felt ther eot be no room for ME is an every day practice.

Sounds like you are doing that very thing. There foe I am cheering you on. your voice counts your needs are important and even if some one says \"NO\" Don\'t stop doing it. It causes a lot of discomfort when some one responds with a NO it often triggers me to climb back into a shell of sorts. I doesn\'t give the rst of the world the opportunity to hear me and most of all it doesn\'t give me or yourself, in this case, to become who you are...and tere is plenty of room for you and there is plenty of room for me.

I do not agree that every one s shy. i think some one feel their rights to have voice in matters and others do not sense their own birth rights as an individual. In my house hold when I was a child my voice was ridiculed. I was bad kid for having a voice so I learned how to pres my thoughts and feelings back in. i was heard and my point of view was not encouraged nor respected. That is why i had to make a come back as an adult and reclaim my voice. but the fear of being rejected was great and I had to work through it. This is practice. I wish you well in your efforts to speak , aks demand, request and even insist. LUV, pageo.

Some lovely progress being made there in your social interactions with your colleagues :-) You can be proud of yourself. Doctors and priests are used to having people ask them to authorise documents. It can be difficult coming forward to ask them, but they\'re not likely to say no. The worst that would happen is they\'d give you the name of someone else you can get to have your papers authorised. It\'s their job to be helpful :)
I\'m glad you\'re finding your process freeing, liberating. Wonderful :-)
With love, Emma xx
