RECALL
I recall in the mid 90s there was an 18 month period that I lost my Grandmother, both my brothers and what would have been our first and only child that I considered the worst era of my life until this year when I lost my wife. The loneniness is the worst, I would rather be home sick with someone here than to be fair with no one here. Not something you want to get used to, at least not for me.

I too find that the loneniness to be the worse part of this. I do like being by myself, but with hubby to talk to. I still forget he passed & will saw something to him & wonder why he\'s not answering me.
Thanks but this adjustment has no timetable unfortunately.
I feel your pain because loneliness is the worst part of this journey. Like you stated I would rather be sick and have my hubby that be healthy without him. I miss those wonderful talks we had, watching a movie, eating together, laughing at silly things or just sitting together doing nothing just holding hands. I miss his smell, warmth and his arms around me. I still look for him at the mall, home or anywhere that he used to be. I think that sometimes I am going insane just wondering where he is and how can I go to see him. I love him and I miss him so much. I hate this feeling and the pain that comes along with it. I want him so bad that I pray to God to make a miracle and give him back to me but I know that is impossible but this is how desperate I get. Going home in the evenings after work is the worst part because he is not there waiting for me like before. I hope that someday we can look back and understand why death has to happen because I don\'t see the point of it. I understand your pain and I want you to know that I am always here to help you. DS is a place where we will find the help we need there is wonderful people here. God bless you and lots of hugs. Linda
Wow, so much in common. I used to be in a hurry to get home from work, now I\'m looking for something to do with my time before, during after getting home.
