Rebuilding "Me"

Until my youngest left, I had never been alone.  I married six months after high school graduation.  Had two children, filed for divorce, had another child while still fighting for custody and final divorce agreement.  Moved back to my hometown to raise my youngest and try and finish my degree.  All three children, at one time or another, had life threatening health crises and I spent my 30s, 40s, and 50s as their sole caregiver and/or primary parent working a minimum 3 jobs to support my husband's musical career/education.  I waisted alot of years being angry, revengeful, victimized, and whatever else but healthy.  However, in retrospect, it has been a hell of a ride.  In the grand scheme of things I have stayed the course.  I have lived a life of service, put others before my own personal well-being, while managing to accomplish amazing things.  I would not go back to change anything even if I could.

The question now is what do I want to accomplish for the next 20-30 years.   So, tonight, my journey begins.  I am grateful to have stumbled upon this website and hopeful that I can begin discovering "me" with the help of support groups and possibly new friendships along the way.
