Ok I am taking a break. The paralegal from the law firm contacted me to get my husbands work address and I gave it to her, but she isn't going to be successful serving him there. THey send him out of town for week every week, he is never in town except on the weekends. This is frustrating. He wont give out his address, so I can't get him served. He is never at his job because they send him out of town, so again, there is a dead end.
My last divorce petition he wouldn't cooperate but he agreed to go in person to the lawyers office to sign. He went, but he didn't sign anything. He took the paperwork and just never returned.
I texted him asking for the address, or at least give the address to the authorities or to my lawyer. He asked me what the hurry was, and was I just doing this to be mean. Me?
Do you know what the rush is? Last month the bank shows that he hacked into my bank account and changed my settings and has been getting my bank statements sent to his email account. I had to go through hell to do the identity fraud alert, and re-direct my direct deposits and financial matters into a new account with a whole new bank. I called the police and they said as long as we are married he has the right to use my social security number in any way he chooses. So that is what the hurry is about. Until I get divorced, there is the opportunity for him to continue to control me in various ways. I need legal protection, and because he wont sign the divorce or be served, I have no way to safe gaurd my life, privacy, safety. This is serious! I have the right to feel safe and secure, and the right to my finances. I have basic human rights that I need to keep safe. My bank account is not for him to peep on. If he wanted to see my bank statements I would have been happy to show him. All it shows is me paying all the bills. I have nothing to hide. But for him to steal my social and gain access into my account that has nothing to do with him is creepy. And weird. And abusive. Am I in a hurry to divorce-heck ya! Am i doing it to be mean? Of course not!
