Really Good News and a Complaint

The good news:Z seems to be out of the woods, and cuter than ever. He's smiling, not feverish, and actually showing off some cool new skillz...swimming and playing brain games.  The complaint: I hope no DS members work for United Airlines. I've managed to avoid flying United or American for many years, as I've just found "full priced" airlines to actually offer less service than so-called 'discount' airlines. Today, for the 2nd or 3rd time in a year, I was forced to fly United. Now, it's worth noting that I was flying their "fancy" P.S. service, which costs about the same as regular ticket but is supposed to be better. It's late, so I won't give you the long list, but ultimately I find United to have a) the oldest, dirtiest planes there are, and b) the most uncaring, rude staff I've ever seen. I stood waiting for the (dirty) bathroom for 10 minutes while the two flight attendants made jokes about how annoying and demanding the passengers on my flight were...meanwhile, of course, not helping anyone. Apparently, it just sucks working for United, and you're encouraged to show it. OK, I'm done. My son is better, and that is WONDERFUL.  (Oh, and I just ate a Malomar cookie. That's also wonderful.)
