Real Mountain Talk
OK, folks. Now most people that would come to these here parts would have trouble knowing what is being said. This area is very clannish and the mountains have held all types of people from Irish, Jewish, Italian, etc. Add to that the families tend to be clannish as well. Have listed this in my pictures and am posting it here as well.
We had a trucker ask a Northern customer "How much more you like?" The Northern customer, not understanding our speech, said "I'd like the whole D*** load!" Everyone laughed but the Northern didn't get it. It had to be explained that what was being asked was "How much more before the load is emptied." Have fun!

I\'ve seen this place mat before at restaurants!LOL I think it\'s a quick reference guide for folks that don\'t know the language.That way they can have a proper Mountain Folk dinner conversation!;-)
Well, we do tend to speak quickly slurring our words together if you hadn\'t figured it out from some of our phrases. LOL
