Ready to Kill!
Lord help me....one if not both of the gds are driving me up a wall today.
The 7 yr old is refusing to clean up her mess. We have been going round and round forever on things. What should have taken her "maybe 30 minutes " tops is now into the 6th hour with no signs of improving. I guess a 7 year old will be missing dance class once more due to her not following orders and picking up her mess.
The 16 mos is trying to do the same crap and not listen. I am not impressed. At least I can get her to do things or at least STOP doing things yet.
Hubby called and he is not having a lot of luck due to the holiday traffic back east. UGH!!
I am just ready to call it a night, cancel the 7 yr old activities for the week, go to bed, and call it a day!

This is a hard week for the kids. Starting a new school year gets them all wound up. The 10 year old us driving me nuts the 8 year old had two bad days and settled down. Right now the tens year olds favorite says are You can not make me, No I do not want to, NO, I do not care.
I am dreading the teen years.
Sometimes we need to walk away and have a few minutes of quiet.
Thanks for the reply! 7 yr old spent most of the weekend with my daughter since she was babysitting some kids for a friend of hers. 7 yr old did really well down there but the moment she gets home \"BOOM!\" she explodes her hateful self on me once more.
Kind of hard to walk away at times but I try or try to send her away to give us each some space. There are days I am jealous of my hubby being miles and miles away from all of this crap.
I will hang in...just having a down moment.
Sorry things are so rough with the grand kids. Sounds like you have a great Oman of action...skip the dance lessons, get them to bed, and then get to bed yourself so that you can get sone rest you certainly deserve.
