"Reading to children even before they can understand, teaches them to associate books with love and affection."

busy with work. finish this later.
I'm at k's. had dinner. black beans, rice, shrimp and mixed veggies. margueritas, wine, black coffee. brought over mai tai mix for next time. watching forensic files and criminal minds - oldies that I don't remember anymore. tired, because I'm trying to straighten out the pay from our regional office for our branch and one of the workers with a short check and its like not having any time off at all. wake up and on the phone with the office on and off for three hours. then three hours of sleep and then work for 8+ hours. too much!
discovered our paystubs do not show up using explorer, only works with chrome or Mozilla, so a lot of the garbage not getting into them could have been solved in a few minutes had any of us thought of that or known that. the support said to reset it. then another said switch browsers/search engines and that was it. yay! what a dumb thing to waste so much time on. tons of rain out there.
had to go for x-rays that in my opinion should have been done over a year ago. would love to see the med file on it. wth? also discovered some of the things that are low on my cbc blood work cause a lack of oxygen to go to the brain and it causes people to fall asleep and experience memory loss - learning all about corpusles (red blood cells and what they do and what they are made of). so that explains the entire last year or more. they said jon should have ordered cbc every few months to make sure the statins weren't causing other side effects and it would have been caught sooner. instead, only the cholesterol levels were tested every month to 3 months. hope that is all it is. I'm still reading up on whatever this is.
played dolls today. lol. I must be realllllly tired. haven't done that in years and to be honest, ten years ago I couldn't have done it. was a lot of fun and I'm surprised I still know how to do that. so if I need more low stress work with high pay I guess i'll look into working at a toy manufacturer like on the movie Big. lol. seriously. if you read the history of Barbie, its amazing how creative it is, its like they are real. first and last names and who is related to who and how. hilarious. some people are brilliant. barbies also teach use of color and fashion and mixing clothing and hair in a small safe and easy way. a five year old can't wear a gown and go to a ball, but Barbie can and the five year old can be Barbie for a few hours. so cute. amazing they have been around since the 50's. my grandmother was against them because the prototype doll which was german, was sold in porn shops originally. she said she was horrified when they were sold to children. we had the Barbie books as well as kids. also noticed, the Stacie doll is bigger and skipper has a grown up version, so they did grow up, but much later. like the doll would be around for 20 years and then become a teen ager. also so many of them now. not all kids play with those though. when I was a kid, it was the main thing. so different. l's daughter modeled for a doll prototype and when the doll came out she was horrified. it actually does look like her, so now she won't go near the doll aisle at all. lol. so funny because its a good gig and she was lucky to get it, but she never expected it to really look like her and it does. it actually dangerous because of lunatics. you only need one weirdo to get fixated for some reason. too late now though.

so you are changing the very fashionable clothing, which at my age now, all new to me, same as when you are a kid. good match. and as you put together and change the clothing and pick up doll after doll, you make up stories of where they are going and who knows who and what they are like. excellent. I didn\'t even remember that is how it goes. so fun! lol.
if i would have had the money, and not my redneck alpha male friend with, i would have bought some used g i joes at the farmer\'s market weeks ago; i had some of them when i was a kid;)
