Re-started my Poetry Book
I was sitting around today and I have started writing in my book again. Sad thing is that I have lost a lot of good poems in the past because I didn't back up old formats (3.5 disks and even the 5 inch disks). I may have hard copies of them around but I will have to look at them. Most of the poems are rough as I didn't go back and re-work poems once I wrote them until lately. The title of my book is Scars. I call it that because it is about experiences. Things that have left scars on us, be it bad or good. It is appropriate for my writing because I tend to be more of a Roethke and Edgar Allen Poe type writter anyways. I will attach some as they come along though they may be rough drafts and I will go back and re-work them later.

Love the title. I need to start a portfolio myself. I use to draw all the time and like you I have lost everything through all the moving and when I went through bad times, I would want to through my life away, throughing my pictures away was a way for me to do so.
I would love to read your poetry. I love to read poetry and it means more when its from someone I know. I wish I could write. I have so much inside of me that I would love to get out but have a hard time finding the words. So I sing instead....
