Ray's foot

Went to wound care today and the ulcer is healing nicely and he is in better spirits, thankfully.  They were supposed to put him I a cast today but he has a PRV test on Thursday so they will do it next week.  They put a stem cell product on the wound that is supposed to hasten healing.  It has to stay in place for 7 days.  Next week they will check the progress, change to dressing and put him in a cast and cam walker to offload any weight from his heel.
He has been following doctor's order to the letter for the first time since I have known him and lo and behold, he is getting better! LOL.
I love him to death and I am so proud of him for doing the right thing.
