OK, so which do you think causes the most problems:  Interferon or Ribavarin?  I think Ribavarin gets blamed the most because you can stick the word Riba in front of stuff to make words like Riba-rash, Riba-rage and Riba-oops-I-forgot-my-own-name.  But I'm starting to wonder whether our buddy Interferon isn't causing most of the side-effect mayhem. I am absolutely shocked at how completely wiped out I am on Saturdays, the day after the puncture. I'm just linking one nap into the next. Can't concentrate. Stomach is a mess. etc. etc.  Just another question to ask when we get to heaven. I was telling my wife the other day that due to tx I had lost my rhythm.  I would never dance again. "You couldn't dance in the first place, you dope!" Oh, yeah.  But it's fun blaming everything on tx isn't it? The other day I heard a guy say that if a down-and-outter spits on a cop... the cop is certain to get hepatitis.  Another well-informed citizen. Oh, brother. For the last 36 weeks I've been able to avoid taking Interferon on a plane.  Not this coming week. Strangely, I get really anxious about it. I have this vision of the security guy saying (5 times louder than normal) "What's that mister? You take this for Hepatitis? Bet you can't dance anymore!"  And all the people stop and stare at me. Probably won't happen.   OK folks... let's win some dragon fights out there !  Kary showed us the way !  Jack

Interferon was DEFINITELY the worst for me. My shots wiped me out for two days on the weekends and than again mid week for at least a day. Interferon did NOT like me one bit -- but it did the trick and killed that freak\'n dragon. I did get the rash and itch from the riba but it never really made me overly sick...just anemic.

As you get closer to the finish line...keep your eyes on the light I\'m shining at the end of the tunnel. I\'ve got that dragon hog-tied and you are going to stick a huge dagger in it when you cross that line. There\'s nothing to do but WIN. :)

You, JKbearhug and me...we\'re the 1b warriors!!!
