RAMBLING ON
continued
Hi journal, where did i leave off, oh yes,
I'm loving life, I love where I live and I like being me.
That's a bit of a paradox I know.
Nevertheless it is true,
as I can say that by becoming more informed,
about Parkinson's Condition,
I know more about myself,
I know myself better,
I know what I want.
Gone are the days wondering around lost,
with no set goals and direction.
I am more in tune with myself than ever before,
I feel in harmony with myself ,
my friends and with life in general.
I enjoy what I do,
I'm never bored,
there are not enough hours in the day for me.
I give of myself, I'm have more empathy for others.
I'm more honest with myself,
being well aware of the,
progressive nature of Parkinson's Condition.
I'm flexible and can adapt,
I endure according to temperament,
knowing full-well what may or may not lie ahead of me.
I have determined to Maintain A Winning Position,
to exercise a positive attitude,
having adopted an optimistic outlook,
I have an 'I can do' spirit.
These are my three drives, they are free to everyone.
Closely linked to this are, my mental strength,
self belief and total commitment.
This is not rocket science, it is available to everyone.
I have heard some say they know their limitations.
Thankfully I don't know mine,
I feel it serves no purpose,
to set one's self limitations,
Parkinson's will do that for you,
BUT ONLY IF YOU LET IT.
So I say,
Set Ye No Limitations.
and with that, it's pop a pill time and then I'm going to bed.

I loved this journal entry...
setting limitations comes naturally to me. I think I know what I can and can\'t do and the can\'t do list is much much longer. I need to try more things and be more adventurous.
