Rambling Update
"We arrive at the truth, not by the reason only, but also by the heart." – Blaise PascalSo much busyness in my world has left me to neglect my blog as well as my friends here on DS. I do a quick check every day but it’s been hard to offer my full support as I want too. For that I am so sorry. I will try to get caught up on blogs and such as soon as possible. To be honest I miss you guys! Well, in just a blink it will be Halloween/Samhain/Celtic New Year. This is one of my favorite times of the year. I planned a good feast for that day complete with pumpkin chili, fresh baked apples, fresh baked bread etc. I am quite excited despite the fact it’s just going to be Husband and I. We went pumpkin pickin' today. It didn’t take me long to pick out the one I wanted but then I saw a smaller one I had to get as well to represent my step son Sean who is off doing his thing. I miss him. I wish he would call and at least tell us he is alive. However, like my Grammie told me…”He will call in due time…they always do…just send him love and keep him in your prayers.”School is going great. I am getting a 99.43%. I hate the class as it is boring and feel good but I have taken something from it so I am hangin in. I am very antsy though- I just want to graduate already!!!Husband gets paid once a month so I decided to do something different this time. I planned meals for everyday day of the week for the month except Saturdays which will be left over days. I think it will be easier on me then asking Husband what he wants for dinner and him going “I dunno…” LOL I got a crock pot something like two months ago and just a couple weeks ago I got a cook book for slow cookers with lots of great recipes. A good portion of meals planned are from said cook book. Talk about making life easy! :DHmmm…what else? Oh! Husband and I started a new tradition where we go out for brunch on Saturdays at a place called the Corner Bakery. They have all sorts of yummy stuff from soups, salads, sammiches, breads, cookies, pastas, etc. Then we go to half priced books which is a used book store that has new and gently used books. I have gotten so much stationary, note cards, rubber stamp kits, card kits etc. for cheap! Every time I go in there it’s like I find all sorts of good stuff for cheap! The last few times I had to walk away because I just started grabbing stuff! LOL Husband ends up laughing at me saying he knows how I feel because he does the same sometimes. We are planning a road trip in November to Ohio. We gave the date to close friends and family giving them a heads up. Will I be ready? I don’t know! One minute I feel I can handle it…all of it…visiting Grammies grave, having my reckoning with my past, and dealing with the demons up there…other days I don’t think I can face it. Husband said there is no pressure if it comes that I cannot go we don’t have to go- no pressure AT ALL. However, I am treating it as I am going. I am looking at it with a positive eye and treating it as such including preparing myself by say getting a couple pieces of new clothes, a travel kit for toiletries, fresh makeup....yanno that sorta thing. I am just trying to keep my mind fix as if I am going and not letting the doubt sink in. Lately my heart has been racing…well in the last two days. I think its because my sinuses are kinda messed up. Its dry here. I think my body is reading the pain or dizziness my sinuses are giving off as panic and in turn that’s making my heart race. I told Husband my heart was racing but without the panic. That in itself feels weird!!! So…enough of my rambling! How is everyone doing???? ~Bright Blessings~Rea P.S. I am trying to get a piece I have been writing done. I hope to post it on here once done. So do check back! :D
