Rambling, Frustrating & A Bit Of Good
I'm having one heck of a time getting back to that really super good top of the world place I had been in some time back & darn it all I miss it big time. I just can't seem to regroup my life properly. I'm not even really sure at this present minute what I want to say here or how I want to say it so if I'm rambling aimlessly bear with me.
I've been having alot of muscle/joint pain. It usually hits early evening & makes the evening & night quite miserable at times. I usually can't wait just to crawl into bed & forget abt it. I refused to let it interfere with holiday plans except for we're the first ones to go home cause I'm starting to get too sore. I know I've cheated diet wise a bit, a bit of chip dip that has MSG in it, a couple sweet treats here & there, but I can rightfully say not in any large amt as I've made myself almost paranoid abt everything I'm eating which I guess can be good or bad. I have to admit there was one day where I let it get the better of me & I was feeling down right sorry for myself. I was almost ashamed as usually I never allow myself to go to that place in life. Yesterday evening I was lounging back watching TV & I felt like I was stiffening up so bad, it's a type of pain that's hard to describe.
We did get to the wonderful Christmas Eve service at my church which is always very almost uplifting & joyous (they even have a magic show for the kids which is of course tied in with the bible in one way or another). That evening truly warmed my heart & made me forget abt the pain for a while.
Of course me being me I refuse to let it get the better of me so I keep on doing but am just reaching a point where I might have to pull the reins back a bit & reshape some days.
We took a huge bunch of food down to our largest mission here to help them with their christmas meal. When you go to a place such as that it truly is a humbling experience & makes you view & think life in a very different matter. So many that have so little or nothing at all & depend on the mission for some food & maybe bed space for the night. But man did that make us feel wonderful.
Well I know there's much more I wanted to say but my eyes are probably not going to stay wide eyed alert much longer so before I start to sound really pathetic I'm going to sign off for now.

My sweet friend, I want to reach out and hug you so much.. I am so sorry for every ache or pain you feel. I will be praying for your recovery, in the mean time please take care yourself and get plenty of rest and maybe go see a doctor and see if they can help you with that pain.. I wish I had a miracle pill that could take it all away from you but I do have my love and prayers to give to you. You will be prayed for. I love you so much.. Frieda
I think you might just be talking about lupus fog. I know I want to make changes but my mind feels scattered and I end up doing things out of habit, which is bad. I guess experts would tell us to just make one small change at a time and when we master that, add another. So, I guess I am going to work on small dietary things on my end. Maybe cut my snacks in 1/2 and see how that goes. ; ) I hope you get relief from this muscle pain. When I get muscle pain, for me, it\'s from too much sugar and not enough potassium, so I know it\'s time to buy bananas. ; ) I know we differ about diet and things, but I do hope it passes! Glad you had some high points during Christmas ... we did too. xoxo, michelle
You inspire me, I hope you feel better soon
