Rainy Day Again

As they said on tv, it's not often that it rains all day here, but it has been doing that lately.  I'm back to pulling on boots when I go outside. Got overcharged forty bucks on my grocery trip last Thursday, had to go back to the market and haggle with them.  Stressed me out enough to basically turn it into a nothing-accomplished day.  Another ME moment, if I had my wits about me I would have spotted the problem in the store.  I find it is important to forgive yourself for forgetting things, messing things up; because these things are going to happen no matter what.  So beating yourself up over them is not just illogical, it is totally pointless. We screw up, we have to go back and do things over.  Ho hum, another day, let's move on.  Did I feed this cat today or not?  Can't remember, got to feed him again.  Once I drove twenty miles to pick up something I needed at a store, bought some other things I needed while I was in the area, forgot to get the original thing.  Had to drive back the next day, another forty mile round trip. Must keep calm, must keep calm...must...??  Oh yeah, keep calm.
