raining outside//sh found a kitten with mange & gave it wrong med//ak raided the fridge. grrrr

really need to hook up internet again so i can vent as soon as i need to.  i also think tedious journaling helps TONS with memory.
sh calls me last night that she found a kitten with mange from her description over the phone, by the colony she feeds and was going to drop it off by the vet today.  mange can kill if its advanced and the animal is emaciated.  i have the medication for it.  she has paste with ivermectin for horse and for goat (neither of which you are supposed to use).  i tell her i'll give her the med last night, just call and we'll meet (good thing we didn't) or today, she can get her own in the a.m. at the feed store.  i tell her the dosage.  sh is a nurse (from england not here, even though she is american.   she didn't pass the nursing boards here.  she owns an assisted living and has a prn license which anyone can get, it takes two days and its a license to give out meds).  she has "trouble" with numbers, so how is it that she is giving out meds?  grrrr.  she'll say a bed costs $30,000 when it costs $300 that kind of thing.  i've seen this before with "nurses" but usually lpn.  not rn.  she claims to be an rn.  really makes me wonder.  i warned her not to give paste as its impossible to measure and we haven't had any luck with it.  the dosage we give of the ivermectin liquid for swine, is from the cornell book of cats, from cornell vet school.  sh doesn't listen.  doesn't say anything and gives it a "little" paste.  now she'll have to wait a week to give it proper dosage.  she has done all this before.  screwing around with it.
two years ago (i keep notes on the rescuers) she did the same thing AND didn't say she did this, we administered the proper dose of ivermectin in liquid and it died.  she starts giggling and waiting for us to laugh.  its not funny its SICK.  then she says she THOUGHT she said she gave it paste.  and its like, NO i specifically ASKED YOU if you gave it anything and i SPECIFICALLY told you not to.  then she says, i didn't want you to know i gave it the paste when you said not to.  wtf?  there are reasons i avoid her.
i also keep insulting her, because everytime we have trouble with another bipolar person i start making remarks and i know i do this and i'm pretty sure, she has that disorder.  so many things with her.  i admire that she has a zillion rescues, mostly of large animals like horses and goats etc.  her farm is more like a santuary.  but something as simple as this, so easy to treat, WHY screw it up.  i kept saying WHY.  i just told you not to do that, and there you go, and NO she is not a child, she is older than me by like TEN YEARS.
mr does stuff like this as well, and it really makes you wonder, exactly what happened with her husband before he died, as mr was his primary caregiver and she screws up all things with care alllll the time.  some rescuers do better with high vet bills and letting the vet and vet techs do everything, though to me its such a waste of money most of the time.
now i wish i hadn't told sh a cheaper way to treat the rescue and just let her bring it to a vet and spend more money.  but she is supposedly broke all the time?
then i get to the house up north and ak is here.  grrrr.  i am not friends with him.  he was a friend of jf, and jf used to visit here constantly for several years before he died.  mostly when j was here and later on didn't seem to matter who was here, jf was still here.  grrrr.   (the kids didn't even like jf and would keep driving if they saw his car here.  lol.   in my opinion ak is worse).  the house doors are locked but we have an extra refridgerator in the back and that door is open, its an enclosed porch.  he friggin goes into the back and OPENS a NEW box of chocolate covered bananas from the freezer and helps himself.  who says the box was for here and not a gift for someone?  he's taken that kind of stuff before WITHOUT permission.    WHEN did i offer it.  NEVER.  i never offer the chocolate bananas, because they are a favorite of mine, they cost like $5 for 5 bananas of them and twice that if bought individually.  wth?  and if ak wasn't caught, i'd think someone else in the house did it and there would be problems because of that.   i totally hate this guy and he stillll comes by.  what is the excuse?  jf has been dead for a couple of years now.  there is no way he thinks jf is here.  he's also the first to accuse the kids of things (jf used to do the same thing) and i'm like, that's really amazing since b is only here at the most one weekend per month, js, even less.  so how do you figure.  ak doesn't even realize they aren't here every weekend anymore.  what an asshole.
its raining outside.  we need it.  i am sneezing from the pollen and not in the best mood just from allergies anyway.

so i say this to js and she says, most of one of the boxes of those were missing last month. what is this guy doing? stoppin by and eating our icecream or equivalent instead of going out for it. it causes a lot of tension when people food steal, just like when anything else is stolen. sometimes its not noticeable. there has been fish missing as well and i assumed it was j. there is rye bread in there, if he is hungry, can\'t he take a slice of rye and leave it at that. wth? there has been soup missing. so do what now? lock the porch or stop putting food out there. what the hell?

tm went through something similar when he caught his neighbor INSIDE his house. he brought them groceries and let himself in and left it on the counter. kind of odd though, without permission, just walk in? he stopped talking to him because of that. my cousin went through the same thing with a neighbor, except it was me who caught the woman, because i was asleep on the couch under a quilt and as far as she could see, no one was at the house. SURPRISE. i was. that is even lengthier because that cousin also leaves doors open and/or unlocked. so much that her husband took away the key, just like her parents did at home. why is there always so much crap with people.

Wow, I cannot believe all of this goings on. I think he is needing a good solid
talking to about entering and going into the freezer. I would vent to him.

I\'d put a lock on the freezer! You paid good money for that food, and if you wanted to hand it out, you would. Hmph. Catching up *HUGS*
