Rained Out

K's not-a-husband and their son followed her to my Breach of Contract pile after Church yesterday. I started triggering almost immediately on her not-a-husband's take over of the project, but I trusted K to handle her men while I kept the Breach of Contract pile between us. K was fully supportive of that plan. I checked with her throughout the work to be sure I wasn't offending her not-a-husband. Thank the Cosmos for K. She has been a literal lifesaver for me through this crisis. My social anxiety worries that I am leaning too hard on our flegling relationship, but she assures me I am doing fine. Trusting. . .

We got enough of the pile loaded into Boy Toy's truck bed that we were one achy geezer trio and one cranky adolescant by the time started campaigning for the priveledge of feeding them. I even had an appetite to add to my enthusiasm. I added more gratitude that the dump is closed on Sunday so that we could get to the pizza quicker. I'm pretty feisty for a 63 year old, but the months of waiting on the Contractor have my physical condition, etc., a bit lagging and even listening to the manly take-over was triggering me to the "Bitch of No Return" psychotic break. Getting out of the way of a manly take-over is about all my current emotional balance can handle right now. Letting a professional handle the whole mess was the Original Plan. Alas, I got Breach of Contract litigation in place of the plan to stay out of the way and let the pros do their do.

A drenching rain started before dawn and continued through the early morning. It had let up by the time K and the father of her son showed up after they got the still muscle sore adolescent off to his Junior High day. K willingly accepted the job of getting Boy Toy unloaded. She let her not-a-husband drive the truck he was unwilling to drive after church yesterday. "It's not a good idea to drive other people's vehicles." In you I trust, K. She saw it as a step forward that he was willing to violate the not driving other people's vehicle code. Go you!!! The healing of one is the healing of us all. We managed to get the truck bed mostly filled once more before the rain resumed. K and I decided to call it at that and rest our senior bones for the afternoon. Her not-a-husband was waiting the rain out in her SUV. I don't know what she told him.

K's not-a-husband sure does remind me of my best beloved sis's husband, all the way to their love of Harley Davison motorcycles and the biker body language to match their bikes. Check fact before publication, but I'm pretty sure both men were (are?) long standing members of biker clubs. For sure, not the same clubs. One is from Chicago, the other from Delaware. Certainty unavailable, but I think K and best beloved sis might be bonding through my comparisons. Sh-h-h-h. . . Don't tell their honeys. . .

It remains far from the day I have been wishing for, but I am daring to hope and grateful for the afternoon of rest.

the local DE club that Geezer #1 was as close to joining as you can get without admitting you were in, was called the Pagans, I have met one your two of them many years ago but Geezer #1 traded in his Harley and Bitch for me and a Yamaha about 42 years ago. Aint we had fun.

There ya go. . . The facts are in from the best beloved sis side of the comparison. I bet I didn't get too many of the facts straight on K's side, either. I know for sure she doesn't refer to him as "my not-a-husband." My daily memory tests haven't been going well lately. They rarely do when I am in episode. During the really rough episodes I bump the memory tests from daily to . . . Whenever I can remember. The return of my memory functions is one of my most trusted indicators that I am pulling out of the episode.

I really can see you and K getting along beautifully. Maybe I'll get to introduce you some day, but only if you promise to let me snuggle in between you for a double dose of your special magics. I am as gluttonous at the female dogs I have taken my real bitch lessons from. A real bitch will bite if she must, but she gets back to the tail wagging ASAP. Lovin' is mucher gooder. Unless you're hungry, of course.

How is Geezer #2 holding up?

I am holding up very well for someone with the appearance of caring, far more then what is really in that particular first aid kit. The appearance is executed so well that I have three co-workers that want a piece of this pie.
Unfortunately I am looking down the barrel end of my biggest fear. Both of the geezers assigned to me by their life style short comings has reached their inability to manage their bathroom needs. So far it is sporadic and not much of a big deal to me but I know I am not the sponge bath nurse they are going to be needing all to soon. yes I would like to have a big dose of your run instinct, I would have been long gone by now.

And I'm still wishing for a big dose of your tenacity and patience, beloved DOS. Spending time with you remains the closest I've come to having that particular wish come true. We is still what we is and we isn't what we isn't as much today as when we were children under blankets with Geezer #2, reluctant to give up the shared body heat for the cold world outside the blankets.

Repeating myself again. . . Please branch out on this website and broaden your support network. Geezer care ain't no simpler than finding yourself buried under a Breach of Contract Pile in a "new" physical location.
