Rain Rain Go Away...
I admit it... I completely wore myself out and did far too much today, but my house is full of food, my electric is paid for last month, and my property taxes for the first half are PAID IN FULL!!! Further, my house is stocked with food for the month (except the cheese I forgot) with everything packed in the freezer (oh, except for the never ending pork chops--yuk, I eat garden burgers that night; I'll do those tomorrow since Guy went out and bought plastic wrap which I also forgot). It was a long day! I think the rain got my hip to hurting or all that morning activity. Hard to say for sure... (I have resurrected my Doc Martin boots that still look brand new. I discovered they like thin socks... After all that running around, my feet felt just fine!) Like I said, I did an awfully lot with far too many stops, but I AM HAPPY ANYWAY!!! Goddess, a day of accomplishments energizes me which is why I'm still pontificating at this hour! My brother-in-law (sortof) went home today. In doing so, he tore out a big pit in the lawn around the gardenbarn (which may have to become gravel now). If he would have waited, Guy could have pushed or pulled him out. Hell, I could have pushed or pulled him out as the redheaded fury in me could have done anything at that point. I admit, it was a bad place for him to park his truck. I should have made him move it when he put it there. Oh, well, that area has always been bad lawn and gravel would not cost too much now that we have a dump truck with which to haul it. So, there you have it. Another day in cow country is done. The pups don't like rain, but we got a couple short walks.

our dog\'s don\'t like the rain either. they will throw a fit to go out then just stand on the porch.
Hi Cj, I know we always seem to overdo it all the time but its like we need to catch up on things we have put off BUT in a way we feel better that we a list got something done. Sorry about your lawn and hopefully it will grow back. Boy doesnt this weather bring out all our aches and pains throughout our body. I feel it in my hands and arms today along with my neck and back. Well lets hope for good weather SOON!! Have a good day tomorrow....LOL Mary :-)
my dogs don\'t like the rain either,i always overdo it on a daily basis it seems but when i accomplish things i energize and love that feeling!weather alwAys gets right to me and my joints but goes as soon as it comes so another reason to get to better weather. have a delightful day tomorrow lol
Cj, i\'m so very happy, that you\'re happy, and in good spirits, and feeling great sense of accomplishment. be sure to take it easy, rest up, and re-energize. We want you 100% angel :) You did so much, and i am so very proud of you. You set goals, went out, accomplished them, and did a great job! :)
i\'m so very sorry that your hip is hurting. i hope and pray, that it feels much better very soon. i am praying for you. get well very soon! lots of gardenign to look forward too! all those amazing stories, and pictures from gardening 2008, is going to be sweet! i can\'t wait to come in from long day of gardening ,and sharing stories, pictures with everyone. :)
i\'m so very sorry about your lawn! the snow, ice, and rain, really has made our lawns all muddy. i was walking around in our yard today, and it felt like i was sinking in the mud! oh my! i started to tip toe around the yard! hehe! :)

Wow girl, I\'m exhausted just reading your journal. However, it is always good to get all that shopping done and have food for a month. I wish I could shop like that. Don\'t have a clue how to do it. I tend to shop when we\'re out of one thing. It\'s pitiful.
It\'s supposed to be April showers bring May flowers, something is wrong. We had a terrible ice storm last night and I\'ve got to put my spikes on to walk Ms. Lily. It will be a short walk.

Oh girly girl. Sound like you had a BUSY, BUSY day. I do remember a day just like that. giggles. Oh I just so have a problem with people parking in the worst places. You\'ve been busy!! Sounds like you\'ve done a lot of work. And man, this food,..we need to go get more for our house too. MOm and dad left us with empty kitchen, so maybe my sister can go do some shopping today :)
Mom and dad left. Just called me, abut to get on the plane. Hope they have fun.

What color are you docs?? My husband got the loafer style to wear to work ...he wore them in HS and college and says that they are the most comfy. I haven\'t ever worn any, so maybe I should look into it! It\'s awesome that you have everything stocked up...I\'m always out of something around here, and if I send my hubby to the store with a list, he\'ll invariably forget half of it! The sun is coming, hon...it\'s just slacking off! XOXOXOXOXO
I wished I could get stocked up like that. I can\'t remember things when I go to the store, even if I make a list. I never can get everything done. Good for you!!!
