Rain rain go away!
Not sure if its the rain, me and two out of my 3 boys sick with a cold/sore throat etc that just brings me to a place. Days like this, I think how my Mom would come over and just by Mommy. I would lay down, she would run her fingers thru my hair and make me feel better. So, I tried doing that with the boys, and one fell asleep and the other just wanted to play cards. Couldn't help from the tears coming and going today. Talked to my sister and she had a bad night last night and couldn't sleep. IT's no special date or day, so it's amazing to me when we are feeling badly and missing her so at the same time. So, its pouring right now, and I am hoping all the flowers and herbs I planted at my Moms will look amazing tomorrow! I know we needed it! I am going to find a movie to watch with the boys ... they called for a "family movie on the couch with blankets and many pillows"... I will try to check in later!

Family movie is a wonderful thing. We do that at least one night every weekend. Snuggle up on the couch with popcorn or pretzels and watch a movie together. It\'s healing because it allows you to feel that your life does go on. You will NEVER get over the loss but you will get through it, one day at a time.
I hope you had a nice family time on the couch....that always made my kids feel better. Honey, go ahead and miss your mom...that\'s normal. I still miss mine and have a good cry now and then. Hope you and the boys are better tomorrow. Hugs
You sound like a sweet Mom! I\'m glad your children bring you comfort. Always remember your mom is with you in Spirit~Love never dies. God Bless,Katie
Hey there, family time is so important but it is hard when they are sick and when more than one is sick it can drive you up a wall. You sound like you have it all under control. You are being your mom which is a huge tribute to her. Remember she is with you and helping you in ways you do not know. I know life can be troubling at times but it can also be wonderful and you will remember things about your mom with a smile instead of tears. Take care and may God bless you and your family. Gary :)
