Race for Life
I've mentioned this before but today I got my sponsorship pack for running the charity race 'race for life' today. I'm so excited. I am going to try and raise £100 for Cancer Research. On July 18 I will be running 5k to try and raise this money.
Some of you may or may not know, but this time 3 years ago I myself had a brush with cancer. After a routine pap smear I found out that I had grade 2 cancer of the cervix. I was one of the lucky ones. After a few months of chemotherapy, radiotherapy and two minor operations, I was given the all clear.
Not everybody is as lucky as me. I think that everybody is touched by cancer at some point in their life, whether it is yourself, a friend, colleague or family member. If anybody would like to donate some money please feel free to visit my just giving page

Thanks Jen. I\'m really looking forward to it, I think its a really worthy cause, plus I haven\'t managed to walk that far since I hurt my back so fingers crossed the training will help me.
