rabid liberals and teen brats on this site
I'm sorry, but I lose patience with some of the rabid liberals and young brats on this site---cause they really cant understand that older people and non-liberals would dare to disagree with them.
One girl starts a political thread how George Zimmerman, despite his day in court, is still a killer, with one poster even noting how angry blacks would be justified in LYNCHING him!....and now that thread has been closed, once again from this girl who constantly closes threads when she gets replies she doesnt agree with.
And then there's the threads with some curse word in the subject, with the latest "jobs that assholes have." As somebody who occassionally checks out Craigslist, I see posts in which somebody regards depressed people and other mentally ill people as....assholes. So, I cant get into the age 18 to 38 hipster mood of calling some working person an asshole, especially if it starts on this site. And my neighborhood is mostly jobless, barfly...assholes.:)
When i was in a yahoo group, the moderator would censor, or just plain not allow, posts in which I would complain how some of the towns near me, in rural PA, not California, have been over-taken by violent, spanish speaking illegal aliens, so that I have a very limited choice of where to move, in a 30 mile radius. My lack of moving choices certainly depressed me---but it was deemed politcally incorrect to post the reason why.
Of course, I went through a spoiled liberal phase myself, especially in my teens, so maybe I see some of my past faults in such threads.
I am certainly glad I can post such stuff here, but who knows if doing that will one day come to an end.

I agree with your journal. I am not going to comment on the George Zimmerman case, simply because it causes hard feelings and strikes up some very very angry replies.

People now cannot comprehend how someone has an opposite opinion, the RIGHT to that opinion, no matter how much someone else dislikes it, and the more \'liberal\' can\'t imagine how they could think that way....they want to take away your right to disagree with them,..and yet this country was founded on free speech...nowadays as long as it is not Conservative, or Christian speech that is ..those people have no rights what so ever. I watch public officials claim they are pro women, yada yada and yet bow down to burkas and wearing full covering when they visit \"out of respect\" that country..but no respect is given when small churches are burned, or some one wants to defend the right of the unborn, and woe to people admit they didn\'t vote D. it is a creeping fascism, when the older wiser leaders have died off we may have only progressive \"equality at any cost\" thinkers running this place.
It doesn\'t occur to some that maybe just maybe some \'progressive ideas are not good/do not do best for the most. we are a REPUBLIC, not a democratic country..there is a difference...we act democratically..but this confuses many. Zimmerman, even found not guilty, will be a pariah all his life, his family having to hide their name, all because Americans will not abide by the Rule of Law...we MUST adhere to our laws, and if we don\'t, just pick and choose what is favorable this year...we are lost. ( remember when the wrong address was given for him and an elderly couple had to flee their home and hide as ignorant haters attacked their house?)
Good luck with the \'living breathing constitution\'...I truly fear we are lost..we are already a country where 47% support 53% who dont contribute . + soon millions of actual illegals will become citizens because they broke the law, as long as people continue to take what big gov. gives them \'free\'\' they will lose real freedom.

Been awhile. Nice to hear from you again, even though it\'s this touchy subject.
It\'s obvious that you, too, feel passionate about the supposed freedom of speech in USA.
I stopped posting on news sites last year, cause would-be hippie types would sometimes wish cancer on people who\'d disagree with them. Rolling Stone magazine, the daily beast, Mother Jones, Atlantic Monthly---hippie posters on those sites really have a lynch mob mentality.

I just can\'t BELIEVE how many ppl want to lynch Zimmerman. It pisses me off to foul language I don\'t even know yet. Same for Paula Deen.

i knew a second pro-lynch zimmerman thread would be closed, after i posted different opinions from the second liberal to start the thread; i even posted such a forcast in the thread.
if the thread hasn\'t disappeared, it will soon....with a typical california liberal having CENSORED the comments.
