Rats!
Sunday, February 15, 2009 - 6:05 PM I have been increasingly depressed lately, and trying to get on Daily Strength did not help it any. What in the heck is wrong around here? Can the new owners of this site afford to spend a little money to make things go faster? It is easier to get a man on the moon than it is to get onto this website! The past week has been one of frustrations for me. Nothing seems to be going right. I am not feeling good, and seem to have several problems. I am even having trouble getting in to see my doctor. I know that I have an appointment to see him, but the dates are mixed up. I am either seeing him this coming Friday afternoon or the following Tuesday afternoon. I had to change my original appointment with him, then someone from his office called back to say they had to change the appointment that we just made. I will have to call up tomorrow and see what the actual date to see him will be. I have been having some problems with dizziness. I do not know what is causing it, but I have had it happen before this. Not knowing the cause of a problem seems to make everything worse. A new CNA has started working on the weekends with me. It is too early to decide whether I like her or not. She seems very nice and talkative when we are alone, but when someone else shows up, she stops talking almost entirely. My brother is driving down from Boulder to see me on Thursday morning. He is going to bring some bagels and cream cheese so that we can have a late brunch together while we talk. I am hoping that this will be another positive step in our endeavor to create a new and better relationship between the two of us. I received a late Valentines gift today when my sister showed up at the front door with a can of homemade chocolate fudge for me. She can be late any time she brings this. If any of the people here are using software by the name of Dragon NaturallySpeaking, Version 10, I would like to know if they are having trouble using it. I got a copy of this about a month ago and have had one problem after another. The older versions were far more accurate, as well as being faster. I know that I am way behind schedule on reading journals and commenting on them, but I am trying to do my best in catching up. I think this will be an impossibility, but at least I am not going to give up.

Focus on the good stuff.
Sisters and brothers that care and are committed to continue to working through their own issues are good things.
Bagels, cream cheese and especially homemade fudge are most assuredly good things.
Depression is not an accomodating companion.
I am working on improving my own state of mind, also.
Spring is coming.
This time of year can be a downer for a lot of us.
Keep moving forward.
That was very nice of your sister to bring FUDGE!!! yummy, and it\'s good to hear that you and your brother are still working on improving your relationship. The CNA who stops talking when others come around sounds alot like me, I don\'t mind talking one on one with people, but crowds or new people unexpectedly make me nervous and I clam up. Sorry your Dragon thingy is not working the way it should. take care
I\'m like that too - clam up when others are around. I\'m much more talkative one on one or with someone I\'m comfortable with. I hope she turns out to be good for you.
Homemade chocolate fudge sure sounds delicious. I hope she brought you lots of it. Chocolate is like my best friend sometimes.
Depression seems to be kicking my ass a bit too these days. I\'ve noticed that a few of my friends are also suffering more than usual. Sometimes it almost seems like the universe conspires to make it difficult to see past all the frustrations it throws our way. I hope the appointments get sorted out and life gets a little easier so you can take a break from the depression.
Hugs to you, friend.
Finally got here... Can\'t add anything new.
Hugs and Mojo
