R U READY 4 TURKEY
This week is the traditional TURKEY DAY and all the trimings. It is also as we all are aware of the beginning of the Christmas SEASON.OH! my aching head one might say.Well some of us from the assisted living community went with the daily activity director on a outing to Wall-Mart to get some things that had not been been picked up for the big meal. There was so much going on I believe that it was a total oversight.Come on now how many of us on Pre Turkey Day have for gotten one or more items,at the store and had to go back out in traffic to gather what is needed to compelete the family meal.Even at the age I am,I remember going with my mom on Thanksgiving Eve at 8.30 in the evening to get things she forgot. So it happens, but now there IS SO MUCH MORE TRAFFIC and I DO NOT LIKE TO DRIVE IN A HUSTLE and BUSTLE.After seeing all the pushing and shoving at the store I could not wait to get back to our assisted living.I love the HOLIDAYS I realize I am getting older but I would not mind being asked out. Not conderting I am putting up a good argument.I will go out for a little while,as long as I do not have to go to the store. My wish for ALL TO BE SAFE, HAPPY and ABOVE ALL HEALTHY. Love to ALL...B.M.R.

Thank you and to you too. At this point in my life I may be cynical but take yourself out, yea I know it would be nice to be asked out, but we dont need to wait on that, go out and do what you want. I did Saturday and was glad I did. I start spending time with me I'm my best company. I'd probably have an ok time, but you know everyone has to put on Aires and I just want to be real. Lol, and probably a man would run screaming in the other direction lol. I'm really opinionated, not going to tell them what they want to hear as in stroking their ego, so done with that and I may poke fun, men hate that shit. Lol, but I'm good.
Thanks for the well wishes milklover! Sending them right back to you.
thank you for such kindness. you know how i feel about holidays. AAAAAAAH! lol. take care & "make the most of it". best of everything is what i wish for you - always. M. xoxo
Thank you!!! Best wishes to you for the holiday season!!!
And Mending, I did just that last Saturday. Took myself out to a movie. Saw 'Arrival'. And you know what? It wasn't so bad being there alone. Immersed myself in the movie and didn't think about it!
I heard that was a good movie?
