got 3 kittens fixed and dropped off at rn's. then went to k's for dinner and called because i was running ten minutes late. (i was over there all afternoon anyway). his new handy person was there and is a trip. he has been in jail TWO TIMES for non payment of child support. he is 33, i thought he was 40. he has 3 kids and his 17 year old son just had a grandson. he's from up north - i think akron, ohio, but avoids it because its too much drama. he says, they took his driver's license away because he owes all this child support. and it made no sense, because he already didn't have his driver's license because they took it away before that for driving while the license is suspended. so he can only live in places with good public transportation. (he should move to san diego, they are supposed to have as good public transportation as nyc, except san diego has a better climate).
so k was all pissy about the running late, knew something is up. have a feeling he is drinking more than the allowed 2 drinks for males with high blood pressure.
got back from the vet with the new ones, one is big, like the former big boy, except this one is white, seemed like a good match. k has dinner all perfectly made and in warmers. i actually really like that warmer he just bought. its stainless steel and in compartments, you can put it right on the table.
he has two drinks with cherries waiting. they are brandy alexanders. have never had those, though everyone goes on about them. they are sooooo good. better than a mudslide. they are made with cream d cocoa and brandy and i don't know what else. definitely lots of alcohol because i was buzzed from just one. k made crab stuffing, which was great alone, but not in the flounder. i told him to just take it apart, and he got disgusted because he wanted to eat it the other way. they were both good fish ALONE, just not wrapped up together. he also made fresh asparagus that is always good and i put cheddar cheese on mine. this upset him as well.
i told him, he shouldn't drink the brandy alexanders because he was acting weird. he ignored me. have a feeling he was drinking more than just the brandy drinks. then he starts on me about being ten minutes late. i said to him, i told you i'd be late, there is a wait at the vet clinic, plus i was at rn's for 30 minutes and didn't expect to be.
weird to see k all pissy. i was worse on the time thing, when i first knew him, until i discovered how he gets with that. though normally as long as you call, he straightens up about it, plus the main course wasn't ready yet anyway. and since when does anyone eat before 6:30?
i still haven't adapted to all this do things earlier thing, but that is what is going on lately - for about a year or two now. getting old is weird. i fall asleep in the middle of shows that he considers great shows. he pointed that out. true again. since when is that a problem? my grandmother used to do the same thing.

Geo\'s dad is 56 and has been falling asleep during movies and shows for years and years. I think it\'s just him. Your body might be changing but don\'t think about it as getting old, think of it as maturing. *hugs*
i\'ve napped my entire life, but the fall asleep so often, is new. when i was working two shifts it happened more. but it stilllll does happen. so now my friendships and associations will be tempered by, who can handle me falling asleep for a little while in the middle of a diversion/entertainment, whether its home or out. some people are cool and just go with the flow and others, that you expect to be very cool, are uptight, more often than you\'d ever guess. totally amazes me when that happens.
