"Chilling Adventures of Sabrina" Casts Kiernan Shipka's Doppelgänger Mckenna Grace as Youn

When the special holiday episode of The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina airs on Dec. 14, it will feature a new face — or rather, a younger version of an old one. According to Entertainment Weekly, the Midwinter's Tale episode is apparently all about young Sabrina, and Netflix has cast the perfect actor to play the teenage witch as a child: 12-year-old Mckenna Grace.

Per EW, the episode description reads: "During our holiday special, we’ll get to see what Sabrina was like as a precocious tot. And while The Church of Night celebrates the Solstice, that doesn’t stop Li’l Sabrina from asking Santa for something special."

Part of the reason the casting is so perfect is that Mckenna and Kiernan Shipka have long been compared to each other, and they do share a lot of facial similarities. In January of 2018, Mckenna even shared a photo of the two actors together at an awards show, writing, "Finally
