Quitting Smoking Sucks
I am trying to quit smoking so that when D'Artangnan comes home I won't kill him with my smoking. Grr this sucks.
I still miss my Mojo. I spoke with Karen last night. She said he would probably be under two pounds when I come and get him on the 22nd.
We are trying so hard to get the house paid off my the middle of February, but with Christmas coming up, I just don't know if we can. I promised Heather at least $100 on a Visa card. After her surgery on the 30th she will need to eat special food. I don't know what it is, but ick. It can't be good.
Her surgery was changed from the 16th to the 30th. That kinda makes things easier since my Coy is having surgery on the 19th. Lynn and I are going to stay with him. The 15th is our Christmas party for the Red Hats and the 17th is our Christmas party for the Eastern Stars. The 18th is our installation for Eastern Stars. As long as I can I'm gonna hold an office. It is more fun that sitting on the sidelines.
Friday I went and did a little fundraising. This year is gonna be harder than last year. This year we are raising money for breast cancer. There are so many organizations raising money for that that it is really gonna be hard. So far I only have $90 in hand.
Steve (Lynn's old boss) said he would donate. Last year he and Pam donated $500. I hope they will again. While I was at his office he showed me some of his antiques. I asked him to put me in his will. lol
He has a map of the Lawton/Fort Sill area from way back when. It has the assessors phone number down on the bottom of the page as 52. Wow that tells ya something doesn't it. He also has some Native American marbles. They were pretty cool. I am still hoping to get Hooters to donate some money and pick up my t-shirt design.
I know unlikely, but I can dream...

Quitting smoking does have its ups and downs. I quit for 2 years and then when major problems hit, I went right back. I wish you well, on your success with quitting. You are always an inspiration on here, so take note, that if you fall off the band wagon with quitting, you can always rest assured you can climb right back on. Hugs to a dear sweet person.
