Quitting

I guess I am helping my son quit today.   He says he is afraid to tell anyone he wants to quit.   He says he is going to just fall apart one day and walk off the job.  I can't let him do that.  How will he find another job.  Of course he doesn't want one and says he will not work warehouse anymore.   He won't make more than minimum wage with no background or training.  He has 3 seasons of warehouse at our amusement park and a forklift certification.  What on earth is he going to do?
He is also saying he is so tired he is going to crash and die going to work one morning.  I don't want him to leave this job, but I am up all night stressing as he spews stuff like this for at least an hour every night.  This morning he did not get up for work.  I drug him out of bed and he went, but I told him I would call his boss and try to set up a time for him to talk to the person.   Not tell them anything just that my son needs to meet with him.  
Then I guess we go back to wars over job interviews and applications.   This is my busiest time of year and starting next week I will be working 50-70 hours.   I just can't handle this right now.
